The long-awaited start of Ligier European Series for 2021 took place in Barcelona, on the 16^th and 17^th April. Mathieu Martins performed magically at the controls of the #24 Orhés Racing JS2 R, sponsored by BMA Group.

In 2021, Ligier European Series is divided into six “Heats”, across the best circuits in Europe. Heat 1 of the season took place in Barcelona, on the 16^th and 17^th April, where Mathieu Martins presented himself driving the #24 Orhés Racing JS2 R, sponsored by BMA Group.

Overall, the #24 Orhés Racing JS2 R had a very positive and encouraging performance, conquering a double podium: 3^rd place on the first race and 2^nd place on the second one.

With a fierce “never give up” spirit, Mathieu Martins is already preparing for Heat 2 in Austria – Red Bull Ring Racetrack. Following that, next rounds will take place in Le Castellet, Monza and Spa-Francorchamps, finishing the championship in Portimão on the 22^nd and 23^rd October.
